When I try to register it asks for the License Name. What is that?
- This is the name (first and last) you used to register your copy of GeekAlarm.
Can I customize the GeekAlarm! background images on Windows?
- Simply replace the bg1.jpg file in the GeekAlarm\Backgrounds directory with your own JPEG. We recommend a 1024x768 image. You can also add more JPEG's into the same folder and they will be show either randomly or sequentially whichever you prefer. You can also select your own directory containing JPEG's for GeekAlarm to select images from.
Can I customize the GeekAlarm! background image on Linux?
- Simply replace the bg.png file in the GeekAlarm directory with your own PNG. We recommend a 1024x768 image.
Can I customize the GeekAlarm! audio prompts on Windows?
- Yes, simply replace the ding.wav and power.wav files in the GeekAlarm\BeginAudio and GeekAlarm\EndAudio directories with your own wav files. Additionally you can add your own WAV files to these directories and they will also be played.
Can I customize the GeekAlarm! audio prompts on Linux?
- No, you can disable them but currently they can only be a beep.
